Part of a World Health Organisation international collaborative study involving thirteen other developed and developing countries. Aim: to contribute to a global understanding of the relationship between alcohol consumption and the risk of injury and to evaluate the use of a new code introduced into Version 10 of the International Classification of Disease Clinical Modification (ICD-10-CM).

3. "Driving under the influence of alcohol and road traffic injuries in Bangalore": Project Report

Report of a study, aimed at identifying morbidity due to drinking while intoxicated. Alcohol related road traffic injuries in 12 major hospitals and road side surveys of DWI over a period of 30 days.was assessed in Bangalore city, in India. This was a collaborative effort between NIMHANS, the Bangalore police, a citizens governance initiative and the GRSP.
